I made a sea salt body scrub like this a few years ago, but mine had olive oil, sea salt and lavender oil in it.
I was really getting into making my own products back then, especially Shea butter blends. But when I saw someone selling sea salt scrubs in the mall, i realised it couldn't be too difficult to make my own version and it wasn't.
There a ton of recipes online that you can use, but the one in this video is good.
The concern with commercial ones is that they have an ex foliating ingredient that helps to get rid of the top layer of dead skin, leaving it somewhat exposed, then the artificial and sometimes even toxic colourings, fragrances or stabilisers in them get readily absorbed into our bloodstream
There is largely no need for the chemicals they add apart form extending the shelf life and cutting production costs.
You can get all the benefits of a great skin scrub at a small cost, with items you already have in your home that are all natural and virtually harmless (and potentially beneficial) if you absorb them via your skin.
If you have any recipes for skin scrubs or body butters to share, please post them below,

Just mix in into a paste and scrub away..it smells yummy and the castor oil is so thick it will make you smooth and shinny!
